Move over Betty Crocker...

Now that my job situation is settled and my manuscript if off in review...again... I had some free time this weekend and decided to try somthing new in the kitchen. I have always wanted to make bread but I have never had much luck with yeast rising well. This past week I found a recipe for bagels that I decided to try out since I have about 10 pounds of bread flour in my fridge. I wasn't quite sure what to expect in the end. It was a 2 day process but the outcome was well worth it.

All I have to say is thank goodness for the mixer so I didn't have to actually knead the dough!

Excuse me! When did you get so domesticated??? I can't even use our toaster! The bagels looks yummy!!
