It was taken while I was talking a walk to the river in April and goes to show you how much of a nerd I am.
Since it was April all the trees were beginning to break bud. So I took pictures of some of the trees and this folder just happened to be my sixth folder and the sixth picture is of an Box Elder tree in early April.
I think the reason I was doing this was to play with my close up option on my digital camera. There were a lot better ones but this one was my sixth and I couldn't back down from a challenge!

Well now I know what a Box Elder tree looks like! I'm really bad with vegetation. The best I can do is tell a maple from an oak tree. OH! And fruit trees if they have fruit hanging off them! :)
