Indy 500

Once again we went to the Indy 500 this year. We woke up at 4:30am (that's right AM) to make sure we could get free parking in the infield. Once we got to the track we claimed an area to put our chairs and cooked up some breakfast and drank mimosas (at least Catherine, Bill and I did;that's right we are that classy!).

The only downside about getting to the track at the crack of dawn is that the race doesn't actually start until 1pm. We played a little corn hole, sat around and people watched. It is amazing the type of people you can meet and see at the Indy 500. Here are just 2 examples...

At the end of the day we were all burned, hot and tired but we had a great time!
