And the winner is....

It was been quite the busy week last week for J. On top of defending his dissertation he was awarded the Kirkpatrick award by the department and won second place in the department reserach symposium for his research poster! On Sunday an awards ceremony was held for students who received scholarships and other awards.

Here is J getting the Kirkpatrick Award...


The Kirkpatrick award is given to a wildlife graduate student and I believe is the highest award a grad student can receive. I think they said that J was the only student ever to receive this award during his master's and pHd program!
