2011 Recital

A few weeks ago my parents came down for a visit and to see my recital. This was the first year that I helped teach and they did wonderful! Every year there is a theme to the recital and this year was called 'Once Upon a Dream'. It was about was about a little girl who meets up with different fairy tales in her dream and so each dance represented a different fairy tale. The night went by quickly but we only heard good things about the performance.

Lyrical represented Mouse and the Lion and we danced to 'How to Save a Life' by the Fray.






Tap represented Beauty and the Beast and we dance to 'Everything's Coming Up Roses' by Rosemary Clooney.

The class I helped teach represented Tom Thumb. They danced to 'Little People' from Les Mis and they were wonderful!

Hip hop represented Chicken Little and we danced to 'Down' by Jay Sean. No good dance pics from the routine but here I am with a fellow teacher.

All in all the night was a success! I am looking forward to next year!
